Welcome to our new Burlington office

James and I are very happy to welcome you to our new Burlington massage office, located in the historic Chace Mill next to the rushing waters of the Winooski River.

We moved to Burlington in 2019 from southern Vermont and, since then, have worked in the practice of our good friend from massage school, Rod Cain. It’s been wonderful to work with him, and we’re excited to continue working side by side with Rod (our office is right next door to his).

James and I have been doing massage in Vermont since moving here in 1992, just after we graduated from the Florida School of Massage.

Massage was considered “new age” back then, and only a small percentage of the population sought out massage for its therapeutic benefits. As massage therapists, we had no choice but to create our own business - there were no listings for massage jobs in the Classified ads!

Today, you can likely find a massage therapist in every big city and small town. You don’t have to happen upon their tri-fold brochure at the local health food store, you can simply GOOGLE it and get a list to choose from.

As massage therapists, James and I have been blessed to work with many wonderful clients - and we continue to learn from every client we see. Our work has matured from being new therapists, practicing protocols and memorizing muscles, to therapists who’ve integrated years of experience into knowing where and how and what works.

We look forward to continuing our massage journey - growing and learning and sharing - with you, our clients.
